Thank You Key Workers

Boys & Girls Nursery in Stanmore marked Random Acts of Kindness Week by thanking their fellow Key Workers for their continued hard work and dedication throughout the recent challenging times.

Staff at Woodland Hall Care Home, Clamp Hill, Stanmore, were thrilled to be gifted a selection of treats and received some lovely artwork hand-made by the children at Boys & Girls Nursery to brighten up their resident’s rooms. The care home also received birthday cards from the children to celebrate some recent special birthdays, a 99th, 100th and 101st.

Bea Henry, Lifestyle Coordinator at Woodland Hall Care Home said “The Woodland Hall Family feel very special to have received the gifts from the Boys & Girls Nursery team and children, and the residents simply love the cards and artwork in their rooms. It’s wonderful to be recognised and feel valued and appreciated”.

Natasha Kirby, Director, Boys & Girls Nursery, proudly said “Our team wanted to reach out and say thank you to their local care home for keeping the wheels turning throughout the pandemic. We know ourselves how challenging it can be to continuously adapt to keep everyone safe, but also how rewarding it is to be able to keep going and provide a vital service”.
