Educational Visits

Children are naturally curious, and they love to learn about the world around them. It’s important to offer a wide range of experiences for children to increase their knowledge and sense of belonging.  This can be through visits around their local community, through to meeting important members of society.

We welcome a variety of visitors into nursery, from the fire brigade, vets, and school crossing patrollers, through to parents joining us in nursery to talk about their culture or profession.

Through learning about the different people who help us, and the different festivals our peers celebrate, children start to understand roles in society, identify similarities and differences with their own experiences, and develop respect and knowledge.
