Curriculum

We make all of the learning in Boys & Girls Nursery fun, interesting and stimulating no matter what age your child is. We encourage and nurture good communication skills and help your child build strong social skills. During all of this fun we are working within a framework specifically designed for your child’s age and abilities.

As a Nursery we follow and promote the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a nationwide framework which recognises that every child is unique, learns in different ways and will flourish in a rich stimulating learning environment when supported by caring experienced adults.

All children have individual learning profiles which enable staff to track stepping stones and map the next areas of development. Parents are encouraged to take these portfolios home and add their own information to help staff plan and develop further learning.
